‘A’ Shed Redevelopment
Fremantle Ports and the Western Australian Museum are seeking expressions of interest for the redevelopment and leasing of one of WA’s most iconic locations – the heritage-listed ‘A’ Shed on Victoria Quay, facing the Inner Harbour.
Situated directly alongside the award-winning WA Maritime Museum, ‘A’ Shed has unique views of the working port, access to the historical wharf apron and enjoys a sunset/sunrise outlook through huge cargo doors. The 2,255m2 building features high open ceiling spaces and design details dating from the 1920s onwards.
The building is considered ideal for the development of a tourist and leisure-oriented venture of world quality, in a part of Fremantle emerging as an exciting and vibrant people-oriented place. Under the Fremantle Waterfront Masterplan, it is expected other exciting developments will occur on Victoria Quay in the years ahead.
Expressions of interest close 5pm WST, 29 November 2019. For further details or to arrange a site inspection, contact Franco Andreone at Fremantle Ports on (08) 9430 3415 or firstname.lastname@example.org
